What Is You Financial Freedom Number

Your mind set has everything to do with how much money you have and how much money you will make in your future. History is full of examples of people who have exceeded their wildest financial dreams. Not because of their jobs or their education but simply because of their mindset, their perspective.

Let’s face it the majority of us grew up seeing our parents working a job with not even a thought of working for themselves. Why because that is how their parents did it. Work a good job make a decent living, scrape together every penny and save save save until you retire with a nice pension. Now that may have been good enough back in the day.

More and more people are being bit by the work for myself bug. No longer is having a job good enough for most people which is why you don’t see people or companies for that matter that stay with eachother for thirty or forty years and retire with a nice pension. Those days are long gone and most people nowadays to toy with the idea of breaking out on their own. Either to start your own business or working from home people are more open to the idea that there is a better way to make a buck and it’s not with a job working for someone else.

Let’s all face a little reality check here. How long after you loose your job before you have to go and get another job in order to maintain your present way of life? I am sure that most of us will be looking for a new job almost immediately as we depend on that money coming in to keep us financially a float.

Now look at a different scenario one in which you work for yourself and the work you do is dependany upon you and no one else. Also realize another very real scenario and that is one involving the power of compound interest. There is a real achievable financial freedo number out there for all of us that once reached. The amount of money that our money makes on its own is enough for a comfortable lifestyle. Of course the question is what do you consider to be a comfortable lifestyle and what is that financial freedom number that you must achieve to get there. Because it’s all a numbers game when you get down to it and working a “job” puts the odds against you ever making that financial freedom number.
